Have you received an email stating that your eHerkenning authorisation has been revoked?
This means that the authorisation linked to your eHerkenning product is no longer active. There are several reasons why this may have happened.
Why was my authorisation revoked?
Your authorisation may have been revoked because:
- Your organisation has a Company Administrator. A Company Administrator can manage and revoke eHerkenning authorisations for users within the organisation and may have revoked your authorisation.
- Your authorisation has expired. An eHerkenning authorisation is valid for five years. Before it expires, we send email reminders asking you to renew the authorisation. If it is not renewed in time, the authorisation expires.
- A technical issue occurred. In some cases, an authorisation may be revoked unexpectedly due to a technical error.
Do you believe your authorisation was revoked by mistake?
Please contact our helpdesk at helpdesk@digidentity.com. We can investigate what happened to your authorisation.
