To add another organisation to your eHerkenning account, you must start a separate eHerkenning registration for that organisation.
You can manage eHerkenning for multiple organisations from one personal Digidentity account.
Each eHerkenning product is linked to one specific organisation through its Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number. To add another organisation to your eHerkenning account, you must therefore start a separate eHerkenning registration for that organisation.
Start the registration from your existing Digidentity account. You do not need to create a new personal account.
How do I add another organisation to my eHerkenning account?
You can add another organisation through the website or the Digidentity Wallet app.
Via the website
- Go to www.digidentity.eu.
- Under Products, find the eHerkenning product you need, such as eHerkenning Level 3 Complete.
- Select Register now for the required product.
- If you are not signed in, sign in by scanning the QR code with the Digidentity Wallet app.
- Enter the organisation’s Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number during the company verification step.
- Complete the required verification and authorisation steps.
Via the Digidentity Wallet app
- Open the Digidentity Wallet app.
- Tap the plus sign (+).
- Select Add another product.
- Select the eHerkenning product you need.
- Enter the organisation’s Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number during the company verification step.
- Complete the required verification and authorisation steps.
Once the company verification has been completed successfully, the organisation and its eHerkenning product will automatically be linked to your account.
If you want to add multiple organisations, repeat these steps for each organisation.
Do I need a new Digidentity account?
No. Use your existing personal Digidentity account to register eHerkenning for another organisation.
You can manage multiple organisations from one account. However, a separate eHerkenning registration is required for each organisation.
Why can’t I see the new organisation in my account?
An organisation is only added to your account after you have started an eHerkenning registration for it and successfully completed the company verification.
If the registration, verification or required authorisation is still incomplete, the organisation may not yet appear in your account.
Can I manage eHerkenning for multiple organisations?
Yes. You can manage eHerkenning for multiple organisations from one personal Digidentity account.
We recommend using the same personal account for every organisation you represent. Additional accounts with different email addresses are unnecessary and may make it more difficult to manage your eHerkenning products and organisations.
Can I apply for eHerkenning for a sole proprietorship I do not own?
If you want to apply for eHerkenning for a sole proprietorship that you do not own, the owner must be involved in the application process.
