eHerkenning subscriptions renew automatically at the end of their term, for the same duration as the original subscription.
- A 1-year subscription will automatically renew for another 1 year.
- A 2-year subscription will automatically renew for another 2 years.
- A 3-year subscription will automatically renew for another 3 years.
You will receive renewal reminders 60, 45, and 30 days before your subscription expires.
Cancelling your subscription
To stop automatic renewal:
- Log in to the Self Service Portal on your PC or laptop.
- Select your organisation.
- Under “My Products”, select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Click “Cancel subscription”.
- Confirm the cancellation.
After cancellation, you can continue using the product until the original subscription end date.

Accidentally canceled a subscription?
If you have canceled the subscription by mistake, you can undo the cancellation via “My products”.
Please note: this is only possible as long as the subscription has not yet expired.
