Your eHerkenning subscription renews automatically at the end of its term.
The renewal is for the same duration as your original subscription. You do not need to take any action unless you want to cancel the renewal.
How does automatic renewal work?
- A 1-year subscription renews for another 1 year
- A 2-year subscription renews for another 2 years
- A 3-year subscription renews for another 3 years
You will receive reminder emails 60, 45, and 30 days before your subscription expires.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To stop automatic renewal, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Self Service Portal on your PC or laptop
- Select your organisation
- Go to My Products
- Select the subscription you want to cancel
- Click Cancel subscription
- Confirm your cancellation
After cancelling, you can continue using the product until the original end date of your subscription.
Please note: Cancelling your subscription only stops the next renewal. Your current subscription will remain active until the end date.
Accidentally cancelled your subscription?
You can undo the cancellation via My Products in the Self Service Portal.
Please note: This is only possible as long as the subscription has not yet expired.
