Follow these steps to stop the automatic renewal of your subscription:
- Open your Digidentity Wallet and log in.
- Select the relevant product card.
- Tap Manage subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Confirm the cancellation.
After cancelling, the Cancel subscription button will change to Subscribe. This indicates that automatic renewal has been successfully turned off.
If you change your mind, you can re-enable automatic renewal up to 5 days before your subscription expires by tapping Subscribe.
Please note: Cancelling your subscription only stops the automatic renewal. Your current subscription will remain active until the original end date.
Accidentally cancelled?
As long as your subscription has not yet expired (and no later than 5 days before the end date), you can undo the cancellation.
- Open your Digidentity Wallet and log in.
- Select the relevant product card.
- Tap Manage subscription.
- Tap Subscribe.
No access to your account?
If you no longer have access to your account, please follow the account recovery steps:

A reminder about automatic renewal
Your eHerkenning subscription renews automatically at the end of its term unless you actively cancel it.
The renewal is for the same duration as your original subscription. You do not need to take any action unless you want to cancel the renewal.
- A 1-year subscription renews for another 1 year
- A 2-year subscription renews for another 2 years
- A 3-year subscription renews for another 3 years
You will receive reminder emails 60, 45, and 30 days before your subscription expires.
