To log in to an online service using eHerkenning, you need a specific assurance level. The required level depends on the service provider.

How does the eHerkenning level checker work?
- Enter the name of the service or service provider you want to access.
- The tool will immediately show which assurance level is required (for example level 2+, 3 or 4).
What if you need access to multiple levels?
Do you need eHerkenning for multiple assurance levels (for example level 2+ and level 3)?
Always choose the highest required level. A higher level allows you to log in to services that require the same or a lower assurance level.
No Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number?
If your organisation does not have a Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number, you can still register for eHerkenning without KvK.
