Both eHerkenning and eSignature+ registrations is a continuous subscription that automatically renews at the end of the original term. If you purchased a one-year eHerkenning product, the subscription will automatically renew after one year. Both eSignature+ Qualified (QES), and eSignature+ Advanced (AdES) are one-year long subscriptions by default, and these subscriptions will also automatically renew after 1 year.
You will be notified of this renewal via email, and emails notifying you of this are issued 60 days, 45 days, and 30 days prior to the subscription's expiration.
Cancelling my subscription
If you wish to cancel the automatic renewal of your subscription, you can do so as follows:
- Via your laptop or PC, log into the Self Service Portal
- Select the relevant organisation
- Select the product you wish to cancel under 'My Products'
- Click on 'Cancel subscription'
- Confirm the termination
After cancelling the automatic renewal, you can continue to use the product until the end date of your original subscription.
