You can manage multiple organisations within one personal Digidentity account.
You can add an organisation by purchasing a new business product through the app or our website. This applies to products where you act on behalf of an organisation, such as eHerkenning and other business products.
How does adding an organisation work?
During the registration process for a business product, you will complete a company verification where you provide a Chamber of Commerce number. Based on this verification, the organisation is automatically linked to your account.
Important to know:
- your Digidentity account is personal and may not be shared;
- organisations are linked based on the Chamber of Commerce number;
- you can manage multiple organisations within one account;
- an eHerkenning credential is always linked to one specific person and one specific organisation. A separate eHerkenning credential must therefore be requested for each additional organisation.
How do I add an organisation?
Follow the steps below to add an organisation:
- Go to our website (www.digidentity.eu) or open the Digidentity Wallet app.
- Choose a product you would like to request on behalf of an organisation, such as eHerkenning.
- Click Buy now and start the registration.
- Enter the organisation’s Chamber of Commerce number.
- Complete the verification steps.
Once the registration has been started and the verification has been completed successfully, the organisation will automatically be added to your account. You can then select this organisation when logging in or using a service.
Why can’t I see my organisation yet?
An organisation is only added to your account after you have started an application and successfully completed the company verification process.
Have you not yet requested a business product for this organisation? Then the organisation will not yet appear in your account.
Please note:
We recommend using one personal Digidentity account to manage all your organisations.
Creating multiple accounts with different email addresses for different organisations is usually unnecessary and not recommended. This may lead to confusion, duplicate costs, and limited access to your organisations and products.
Specific situation: sole proprietorship
Would you like to request a product for a sole proprietorship that you do not own? In that case, the owner must be involved in the application process.
