Do you have a new phone? Then you need to transfer your account to your new device.
Select the situation that applies to you:
- I still have my old phone
- I no longer have my old phone
I have access to my old device
Do you still have your old device and has it not been reset to factory settings? Then you can transfer the certificate to your new phone using the Digidentity Wallet.
Step 1 – On your PC or laptop
- Go to my.digidentity.eu and sign in
- Go to Settings → Set up two-factor authentication
- Under Authenticators in your app you will see your certificates
- Click the three dots next to the certificate
- Select Transfer to new device
Step 2 – On your new phone
- Open the Digidentity Wallet
- Tap Scan QR code in the bottom right corner
- Scan the QR code on your computer
- Tap Continue
- Create a new PIN for the certificate
Step 3 – On your old phone
- You will receive a notification on your old device
- Tap Remove to delete the certificate from the old device
- Confirm with your PIN
Removing the certificate may take a few seconds.
Refresh the page on your computer afterwards. The transfer is now complete.
I no longer have access to my old device
If you no longer have your old phone, you need to recover your account. A new certificate will be created on your new device and the old device will be removed automatically.
You will need to verify your identity again.
The recovery of the certificate is free of charge.
After transferring or recovering, you can use your products again.
