If you can no longer access your Digidentity Wallet app, you may need to restore access to your account.
This can happen, for example, if:
- You forgot your PIN
- You entered the wrong PIN too many times
- You are using a new phone
- You removed the Wallet app
- Your certificate has expired
First check: Do you still see your name and email address in the Wallet app?
Yes — my account is visible in the app
You can restore access directly in the app.
- Tap "Forgot your PIN?"
- Select "Recover access"
- Complete the identity verification
- Create a new 5-digit PIN
Your access will then be restored automatically.
No — I do not see my account in the app
In this case you need to perform a full recovery.
- Install the Digidentity Wallet app
- Tap Log in
- Enter your email address
- Enter the verification code you receive
- Select Start recovery
- Complete the identity verification
- Create a new 5-digit PIN
Important: Use the same email address that was used when requesting your Digidentity products.
Please note: After restoring access, you may see one or more products marked as "Incomplete".
This does not mean you need to repeat the entire registration process. In most cases you only need to complete the final steps.
You may also see products marked as "Incomplete" that you started previously but never finished (for example more than 90 days ago). You can ignore these if you do not need those products. Only complete the products you actually intend to use.
