A ‘certificate’ with Digidentity is the authentication method (two-factor authentication) you use via the Digidentity Wallet app.
During the registration process, you will be asked to create a certificate by setting a 5-digit PIN. This PIN secures both your account and the use of your products. You will need to enter this PIN each time you log in or use a product that requires authentication.
Forgot your PIN or is your account blocked?
If you have forgotten your 5-digit PIN or entered it incorrectly multiple times, your account will be blocked. To regain access to your Digidentity Wallet app, you can consult the video below (available in Dutch only):
