The authorisation letter does not meet the requirements
An authorisation letter will be rejected if it does not meet the required standards:
- You must take a photo of a printed letter. A photo of a computer screen is not permitted.
- The letter must contain a wet signature. A digital signature is not accepted.
- Make sure the entire letter is visible in the photo.
- A photo of only the QR code is not sufficient; the full letter must be visible.
- The letter may not be modified. If the details are not correct, please contact our service desk.
- The signature on the letter does not match the signature on the submitted identity document.
- Ensure that a signature is visible on the identity document.
If no signature is present on the identity document, we cannot verify the signature on the authorization letter.

An identity document must meet the following requirements:
- Note: When registering for eHerkenning, foreign driving licences may not be accepted.

- Upload the identity document of the authorized signatory. The authorized signatory is the first person listed on the authorization letter.

- Hold your device at eye level.
- Hold the device yourself; do not let someone else handle it.
- Ensure no other people are visible in the selfie.
- If you wear glasses, do not put them on or take them off during the recording.
