After scanning your identity document with the Digidentity Wallet app, you will be asked to take a photo of yourself. We compare this photo with the photo on your identity document.
A blue head will then appear on the screen. It will move up and down or from side to side. Slowly move your head in the same direction. This allows the app to confirm that you are physically present in front of the camera and that a live image is being captured.
⚠ No live movement detected
Are you unable to complete the check, or do you see the message ‘No live movement detected’? Follow the tips below before trying again.
Tips for completing the check successfully
- Turn off your phone’s battery-saving mode. This mode may restrict the camera and movement-detection features.
- Stand in front of a dark, plain background, such as a wall without objects or patterns. This helps the camera recognise your face and movements more accurately.
- Make sure your face is well lit. Avoid bright light behind you, such as light from a window or lamp.
- Hold your phone directly in front of your face and keep the camera at eye level.
- Make sure you are the only person visible on the screen.
- Follow the movement of the blue head slowly and accurately. Do not move too quickly, as the app may not recognise your movement correctly.
