If you do not receive an SMS code when logging in, or if you receive an expired SMS code, please go through this checklist:
- Did you enter your mobile phone number correctly during the registration process?
- Is the country code of your phone number correct?
- Is the your mobile phone signal available and strong enough?
- Is there a lot of traffic (which could cause a code to be sent too late)?
- Has the registration of your eHerkenning been completed correctly?
During the registration process, try to request an SMS code using the steps below:
- Please check that you have entered your telephone number correctly;
- If you have previously received SMS codes from us, please delete them;
- Restart your mobile phone and delete any SMS codes you received immediately after the restart;
- Click 'Resend' during the registration process to receive a new code.
If you are not in the registration process and are trying to log in, try these steps:
- Check whether your eHerkenning product is listed under 'Continue with registration';
- Click 'Continue' to continue your registration;
- Restart your mobile phone and delete any SMS codes you receive immediately after the restart;
- Log back into the portal using a different browser or private window, and select the SMS Authenticator again.
NOTE: If you have added multiple numbers within your account, this may hinder the functioning of the SMS Authenticator. Therefore, do not enter more than one phone number.
