Do you see a message stating that you are not authorised when trying to log in with eHerkenning?
This message can have several causes. It does not automatically mean that there is a technical problem with your eHerkenning product.
Possible causes:
- You are using eHerkenning Level 3 Belastingdienst for a portal other than Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk.
- Your Company Administrator has restricted your access to the service.
- You are trying to log in on behalf of the wrong company.
- The service requires a higher eHerkenning level than you currently have.
Open the situation below that applies to you.
You are using eHerkenning Level 3 Belastingdienst to access a portal other than Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk
eHerkenning Level 3 Belastingdienst is a restricted product that can only be used for Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk.
Are you using it to log in to another portal, such as UWV, RVO, a municipality or a province? You may then see a message stating that you are not authorised.
For other portals or service providers at level 3, you need eHerkenning Level 3 Complete or another suitable eHerkenning product.
Please note: You can also access Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk with eHerkenning Level 3 Complete or Level 4.
Your Company Administrator has restricted your access
With an eHerkenning product from Digidentity, all service authorisations up to and including the purchased level are enabled by default. You therefore do not normally need to request a separate authorisation for each service.
Does your organisation have a Company Administrator? A Company Administrator can restrict your access to specific services. As a result, a colleague may have access to a service while you see a message stating that you are not authorised.
Ask your Company Administrator to check your service authorisations and any restrictions applied to your account.
You are trying to log in on behalf of the wrong company
Your eHerkenning product is directly linked to a specific company through its Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number.
Do you have eHerkenning for multiple companies? Check that you have selected the correct company when logging in.
The service requires a higher eHerkenning level
Not every service provider accepts the same eHerkenning level. For example, a service provider may require Level 3 while you currently have Level 2+.
Check with the organisation whose service you are trying to access to find out which eHerkenning level is required.
If you do not have the required level, you may need to upgrade your eHerkenning product.
