Logging in with eHerkenning is easy, but differs depending on the level of assurance (eH2+, eH3, eH4). Your desired portal will guide you through the login process. Within these portals, you will need to press a pink and purple button with the text 'Log in with eHerkenning'. Then, select 'Digidentity' as your eHerkenning supplier.
Some commonly used portals are:
- The UWV employer portal.
- MyRVO of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
- eLocket within the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
- My Tax Authorities Business.

Log in with eHerkenning level 2+
- Click on the 'Log in with login details' button;
- You will receive an SMS notification on your smartphone;
- Enter the confirmation code from the SMS in your browser and click on next step;

Log in with eHerkenning level 3
With eHerkenning level 3, you log in with a certificate in the Digidentity Wallet app.
Did you purchase eHerkenning level 3 before October 2021?
Then you log in with your Advanced certificate. You can recognise this by a half-filled shield, followed by your name.
Did you purchase eHerkenning level 3 after October 2021?
Then you log in with your personal certificate, indicated by an empty shield followed by your email address.
You can log in in the two ways below.
- Log in with your email address
After you select Digidentity as your provider, you can log in with your email address as follows:
- Click on the 'Log in with login details' button;
- You will receive a notification on your smartphone;
- Click on the notification and enter your PIN code;

After you select Digidentity as your provider, you can log in using a QR code as follows:
- Open the Digidentity Wallet app;
- Click on 'Scan QR code';
- Point your device at your screen;
- Enter your PIN code;

Log in with eHerkenning level 4
For eHerkenning level 4 Remote, you will need to login with the Qualified certificate in your Digidentity Wallet app. You can choose from two ways to log in.
- Log in with your details
After you select Digidentity as your provider, you can log in with your login details as follows:

After logging in, you can select an authorisation assigned to you. Is the company or customer you want to log in for not in the list? Then you may need to request a new authorisation.
