Your Digidentity Wallet and the products within it are protected with two-factor authentication. This means that you confirm actions using two components: your registered device and your personal 5-digit PIN code.
When logging in or confirming an action — such as logging in with eHerkenning or placing a QES signature — you use the Digidentity Wallet app to do so.
Restore an authenticator

Two-factor authentication through the Digidentity Wallet app is mandatory. If you do not have a smartphone or tablet on which apps can be installed, it is currently unfortunately not possible to create a Digidentity account.
