If you have changed name or address since creating your Digidentity account, it is important that you update your details on your Digidentity account before accessing GOV.UK services.
Each time you add new information to your Digidentity account, your details will be reprocessed to make sure that we can still find enough information to confirm your identity. For this reason, when you have changed name or address, it's important that you do not replace your existing details. Instead, please follow the steps below to add the updated information:
Updating your name
- Log in to your account via https://my.digidentity.eu/person_details
- Once logged in, select 'Add a new name'
- Once your information is updated, return to your account page and select 'continue' from the Pending Products section. You will then be asked to confirm any changes you've made.
Updating your address
- Log in to your account page via https://my.digidentity.eu/addresses
- Once logged in, select 'Add new address'
- Once your information is updated, return to your account page and select 'continue' from the Pending Products section. You will then be asked to confirm any changes you've made.
Accessing GOV.UK services
Once your information has been updated, to continue to access GOV.UK services with your account, please select the service you need from https://www.signin.service.gov.uk/paused/digidentity and provide your Digidentity login details.
