Registration and signing
Important: This registration flow is intended for organisations registered in the Netherlands.
To start the registration, make sure you have:
- A valid identity document
- A smartphone with the Digidentity Wallet app
- A laptop or PC available during the registration process

- Click the green “Register now” button
- Create your Digidentity account
- Complete all registration and identity verification steps
- Upload any requested authorisation letters or supporting documents
- Once your registration has been approved, you can immediately start signing documents with your eSeal

Identification and authorisation
Before an eSeal certificate can be issued, the identity of the person who will use the eSeal must first be verified.
The person completing the registration will therefore be the only person authorised to use the eSeal on behalf of the organisation, unless additional users complete their own registration.
The person using the eSeal does not necessarily need to be a statutory director or legally authorised representative of the organisation.
If the registration is completed by an employee, authorisation letters may be required. These documents are automatically generated during the registration process when applicable.

About Digidentity eSeal
Digidentity can complete the entire registration process digitally and remotely. You scan the NFC chip of your identity document using your phone. No physical appointments are required, and the registration can be completed within approximately 30 minutes. We do not charge additional registration fees, subscription fees, or support fees.
