Signing a document is easy with eSeal. Follow the steps below to digitally sign a PDF document;;
- On a laptop or PC, log in via esign.digidentity.eu
- Click on ‘Upload a document’
- Choose a PDF file to upload
- Once the file has uploaded, select it from the list of uploaded documents, then choose 'Sign'
- Check if your organisation name is checked under 'Certificate'
- Enter your signing location and add a reason for signing (provision of a reason is optional)
- Choose whether you would prefer an individual signing page (at the top or bottom of the document), or choose a location where you want to put the signature within the document itself.
- Click on 'Sign'
- Confirm the signing in the Digidentity Wallet app with your 5-digit PIN code.
- The document is now signed.
You can only sign on one page within the document, and it is not necessary to sign each page separately due to the nature of the document.
