To sign a PDF document with your eSeal, use the Digidentity signing portal on a laptop or PC and follow the steps below.
How to sign a document with eSeal
- On a laptop or PC, go to esign.digidentity.eu and log in.
- Click Upload a document.
- Select the PDF document you want to sign.
- Once the document has uploaded, select it from the list and click Sign.
- If you have more than one eSignature product, make sure your organisation name is selected under Signature.
- Enter the signing location. You can also enter a reason for signing, but this is optional.
-
Choose where the signature should appear. You can:
- add a separate signing page at the beginning or end of the document; or
- choose a position for the signature within the document itself.
- Click Sign.
- Confirm the signing request in the Digidentity Wallet app using your 5-digit PIN.
- Your document is now signed with your eSeal.
You only need to sign the document once.
The visible signature can only be placed on one page. You do not need to sign every page separately, as the electronic seal applies to the document as a whole.
