The Digidentity Wallet app is a secure tool you may need during registration. You can download it on any compatible smartphone or tablet from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
The app allows you to securely upload photos of your identity documents and a selfie. These are verified using government-approved sources. The app is also used for two-factor authentication and for document signing (for eSignature subscribers).
For security reasons, documents uploaded through the app are not stored on your device.
The app can currently verify the following valid documents:
- Passport
- Driving licence
- National ID card (non-UK)
If the app is required, the Digidentity webpage will automatically prompt you to use it.
