During the registration of a product, you are asked to verify your identity. To do this, you must provide your identity document. This verification process is completed through the Digidentity Wallet app.
How to start uploading
- Start the registration for the desired product. You can do this either through the app or via a web browser.
On this page, choose the situation that applies to you:
If you are completing the steps on the same device where the app is installed:
- On the ‘Verify your identity’ page, go to step three and select 'Open the Digidentity Wallet app from here', then tap 'Open app'.
- The app will automatically open and prompt you to select the document you wish to upload.
- Follow the steps in the app to complete the upload process.

If you are completing the steps on a computer:
- Open the Digidentity Wallet app on your smartphone or tablet and select 'Scan QR-code'.
- Point the camera at the QR code displayed on your computer screen (a black-and-white square barcode).
- Once the QR code is recognised, you can select the document you want to upload.
- Follow the steps in the app to complete the upload.

After uploading your document
Your identity document will then be processed. This may take a few minutes. The registration will automatically continue to the next step once processing has been completed.
Not verified?
If your document cannot be verified, we recommend repeating the steps above to upload it again. If verification continues to fail or if you experience other issues, please first read this article: Why was my identity document rejected?
