My PROBAS registration is stuck on pending, what should I do?

If your eHerkenning PROBAS application is stuck on pending for an extended period of time, please contact the Digidentity Service Desk for assistance. 

An application for eHerkenning PROBAS can remain pending for several reasons. Digidentity can inform you which specific reason applies to your application by contacting the Service Desk.

As an authorised representative: 

1. You have not been appointed as authorised representative (yet).

Your organisation has not yet appointed you as an authorised representative in PROBAS. The authorised representative must be known in PROBAS before registering with Digidentity. The authorised representative must be the first to register for eHerkenning PROBAS.

For more information on how to appoint an authorised representative, see the article: How do I designate an authorised representative?  Once you have been appointed as an authorised representative, you can retry your application by returning to the registration for the eHerkenning PROBAS product.

2. Your personal details could not be verified with PROBAS. 

The personal details from your passport must match your personal details in PROBAS. If these differ, your application will remain pending.  

If you are notified by Digidentity that this reason applies, please consult with the registration officer from your organisation to verify whether the personal details on your passport differ from your personal details in PROBAS.

As an additional user: 

1. There is no authorised representative in your organisation

Your organisation has not appointed an authorised representative in PROBAS. This person must be the first to register for eHerkenning PROBAS. After completing the registration, the authorised representative can approve or reject applications of other users on behalf of the organisation.

Without an authorised representative, your application will remain pending until this role is filled. 

2. Your personal details could not be verified with PROBAS. 

The personal details from your passport must match your personal details in PROBAS. If these differ, your application will remain pending. 

If you are notified by Digidentity that this reason applies, please consult with the registration officer from your organisation to verify whether the personal details on your passport differ from your personal details in PROBAS.

Rejection

An application can also be rejected. This can occur in the following scenario:

Your application was rejected by the authorised representative

The authorised representative of your organisation has rejected your application. This person is in charge of approving or rejecting all applications of additional users that register for eHerkenning PROBAS on behalf of your organisation. Please contact this person within your organisation for further information.
