When trying to sign a document, you may see the following error message:
“It looks like you've reached the maximum number within your current plan. Please check your account plan to get more signing capacity.”
This usually means that you have either used all available signatures in your package, or that you selected the wrong certificate during the signing process.
Have you purchased a single-sign or 5-signature package?
You may need to purchase additional signatures before you can continue signing.
Do you still have available signatures?
Please check whether you selected the correct certificate during the signing process.
I have used all my available signatures
If you purchased a single-sign or 5-signature package, you can only sign the number of documents included in that package.
Once you have used all available signatures, you need to purchase additional signatures before you can continue signing.
Solution: Log in to your account and purchase additional signatures .
I selected the wrong certificate during signing
During the signing process, you are asked to select a certificate. This certificate is linked to the authenticator in your Digidentity Wallet.
The correct authenticator is the certificate with the shield icon and the number 4.
You cannot use the level 0 authenticator to sign with a Qualified signature or eSeal.
If you see multiple authenticators and this causes confusion, you can remove the authenticator you do not wish to use.
How do I remove an authenticator I do not use?
- Log in at my.digidentity.eu
- Go to Settings.
- Click Set Up Two-Factor Authentication.
- If prompted, enter your password.
- You will see an overview of your certificates.
- Click the three dots next to the authenticator you wish to remove.
- Select Remove Authenticator.
