With our Electronic Signatures, you can only digitally sign PDF documents (.pdf). Therefore, the document you want to sign must first be available in PDF format.
Other file types, such as Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), Microsoft Excel (.xls/.xlsx), PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx), or image files, cannot be signed directly. If your document is in another format, it must first be converted to a PDF file.
By supporting only PDF documents, we can ensure the integrity, reliability, and security of the electronic signature. Once a PDF document has been signed, the entire document is digitally protected against unauthorized modifications.
