Digidentity offers various forms of digital signing. Our products are divided into different assurance levels, depending on the degree of verification, security, and legal certainty.
We offer the following products:
-
eSignature+ Advanced (AdES)
An advanced electronic signature intended for situations where a higher level of security is required. -
eSignature+ Qualified (QES)
A qualified electronic signature with the highest assurance level under the European eIDAS regulation. -
Qualified eSeal
A qualified electronic seal for organisations, intended to digitally seal documents on behalf of an organisation.
The higher the assurance level of the signature, the more verification checks and security measures are performed in the background. In addition, a Qualified signature or eSeal provides greater legal certainty, for example in the event of a legal dispute.
Adobe Sign and DocuSign
Our eSignature products are compatible with both Adobe Sign and DocuSign.
For support or more information regarding the use of these platforms, please refer to the support pages of the respective provider:
Compatibility and Requirements
Our eSignature products work through our own eSignature portal: esign.digidentity.eu .
For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome.
Please also take the following points into account:
- Your identity document must contain a biometric chip (NFC).
- Only PDF documents (PAdES) can be signed.
- Interactive PDF documents with form fields or dropdown menus are not supported.
- Compatibility issues may occur if a PDF document has previously been signed using other software.
- It is not possible to export your certificates, install them on external portals, or transfer them to third parties. The certificate is linked to your Digidentity Wallet app and can only be used there.
- Signature validation takes place within the signed PDF document itself.
- Some external portals require a physical token or hardware key. Unfortunately, we do not provide these.
