You can delete your Digidentity account in two ways:
- via My Digidentity (website)
- via the Digidentity Wallet app
Delete via laptop or desktop (My Digidentity)
- Log in at my.digidentity.eu
- Go to Settings
- Choose one of the options below
Option 1: Deactivate my account
Your account will be deactivated, but your data will remain in our system for 30 days.
- If you log in again within 30 days, your account will be automatically reactivated.
- If you do not log in again within 30 days, your account will be queued for permanent deletion.
- Once deletion has started, it cannot be undone and your data will be fully deleted within 24 hours.
Option 2: Delete my account
Your account will be terminated immediately and the deletion process will start right away.
- After confirmation, your data will be fully deleted from our systems within 24 hours.
- This process is irreversible.
Delete via the Digidentity Wallet app
- Log in with your 5-digit PIN.
- Open your digital ID card.
- Select Deactivate account or Delete account.

What happens next?
Once your account has been fully deleted, you can create a new Digidentity account later using the same email address.
