If you have received an email stating that your account will be deactivated in 14 days, please note that Digidentity only deactivates accounts in the following situations:
- Accounts that have been inactive for more than 2 years (account deletion after 24 months).
- Accounts without completed registrations (account deletion after 45 days).
- Note: This also applies to expired authorizations.
- Accounts that could not be verified (account deletion after 45 days).
Why am I receiving this email?
The deactivation email is only sent to accounts that meet the above-mentioned requirements. The email will not be sent to an active account.
Check carefully as to which email address you are registered with Digidentity under. Be aware that a distinction is made between the business email address, on which you receive invoices, and the registration email address, the email address that you used to create the account.
Do you use a product regularly? Then there is nothing wrong, and you do not need to take any further action.
