Below you will find the information you need if you have received an email from Digidentity stating that your chain authorisation is about to expire and needs to be renewed.
What should I do if my chain authorisation is about to expire?
To renew a chain authorisation, the Digidentity Service Desk must first remove the chain authorisation that is about to expire so that you can create a new one.
To have the expiring chain authorisation removed, please contact us at helpdesk@digidentity.eu. In your message, please include the following:
- The name and Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number of your own company
- The name and Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number of your customer/intermediary

After the chain authorisation has been removed by the Service Desk, you can create a new chain authorisation using the steps below. Please make sure you choose the correct option. We will also include the steps to take in our reply.

What should I do if my chain authorisation has already expired?

I received an email about a subscription renewal – what should I do?
If you have received an email about a subscription renewal for your chain authorisation, you do not need to do anything. The renewal process is automatic. After the renewal has been completed, an invoice will be sent for the new subscription period.
I want to cancel my subscription
If you wish to cancel your subscription, please follow the steps below:
- Log in to the Self Service Portal.
- Select your company.
- Choose Chain Authorisation (Renewal) under “My products”.
- Click “Cancel subscription”.
- Click “Confirm”.
After cancelling, you can continue to use Chain Authorisation until the end date of your current subscription period.
