For a fiscal entity, you only need level 3 eHerkenning for one of the organisations. This works differently than logging in for a separate entity.
The steps below for logging in on behalf of a fiscal entity are based on the instructions from the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration website (link):
- Go to mijnzakelijk.belastingdienst.nl
- Select “For someone else”
- Click “I have a valid authorization”
- Indicate that you want to log in with eHerkenning
- Choose Digidentity as your provider
- Scan the QR code with the Digidentity app
- Enter the five digits and log in
- Choose an organisation within the fiscal entity
- Click “Other authorizations”
- Select “Fiscal entity VAT” and enter the fiscal entity’s FI number
These steps may change over time. If this process does not work, check the Tax Administration website to see if the instructions have been updated.
Note: If you also want to log in at company level on behalf of one or more companies within the fiscal entity, you must obtain a separate eHerkenning for each company. In this case, subscription costs are charged per person per company.
