Please note: This article concerns the PKIo SBR certificate. If you have lost access to the PFX file of your Automotive Authentication certificate, please follow this link: I have lost my PFX file or forgotten the password of the PFX file (Automotive Authentication).
The PKIo SBR certificate can only be downloaded once. The certificate is created in .PFX format, and you can find the file in the ‘Downloads’ folder of your PC or laptop.
In the certificate overview you are only able to download a .PEM file. This file is only a public key and cannot be used to integrate into your software package.
If you have lost the .PFX file or you have forgotten the password, you must request the PKIo certificate again. You may request your PKIo certificate by following the steps below:
- Log in to your account via: my.digidentity.eu
- Click 'Certificates'
- Click on your company
- Click 'Certificates'
- Click on the certificate that is about to expire
- Click 'Refresh'
- Click 'Next'
- If you have received a promo code; Enter the code and click 'Apply'.
- No code? Leave the field empty.
- Click 'Next'
- Click 'Next' again
- Click 'Confirm'
- Click 'Generate'
- Select the recommended file type (.pfx). If necessary, you can also choose one of the other file types
- Secure the certificate with a password. Enter it a second time to confirm the password.
- Click 'Save'
You can only download the certificate once. Therefore, keep the certificate and password safe. If you can no longer find the certificate, or if you no longer have the password for the certificate, you will have to request a new certificate using the method above.
If you receive an invoice, please send it to debiteuren@digidentity.com with a request for settlement.
