Can I download a PKIo certificate again?
The PKIo SBR certificate can only be downloaded once. The certificate is created in .PFX format by default, but other formats such as .12 are also available. You can find the downloaded file in the download folder of your PC or laptop. If you no longer have access to the file, you will need to request the PKIo certificate again.
I downloaded a .pem file and it does not work
In the certificate overview, you are only able to download a .PEM file. This file contains only the public key and cannot be used in your software package. If you no longer have access to your PFX file, you will need to request the PKIo certificate again.
I lost the PKIo certificate / forgot the password
If you have lost the file or no longer remember the password, you must request a new PKIo certificate.
Requesting a new PKIo certificate
If you can no longer find the PFX file or have forgotten the password, you must request the PKIo certificate again. First, revoke the old certificate.
Revoke the old certificate
- Go to https://selfservice.digidentity.eu/ and log in.
- Select the organisation.
- Click on “Certificates”.
- Select the relevant certificate.
- Click “Revoke”.
Request a new certificate
You can now request the SBR certificate again:
- Click on “Certificates”.
- Click on “Request new certificate”.
- Click “Request” for the SBR certificate and follow the steps.
- Ensure you save the certificate carefully—do not leave the page until you have clicked “Save”. Check your download folder to confirm that the PFX file has been downloaded correctly.
You can download the certificate only once. Therefore, keep both the certificate and its password safe. If you lose the file or the password, you must request a new certificate using the steps above.
If you receive an invoice, please forward it to debiteuren@digidentity.com with a request for correction.
