eHerkenning is a personal login tool that is linked to one Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number. Each employee who needs to log in with eHerkenning must purchase their own eHerkenning within their personal Digidentity account.
Please note: A Digidentity account is strictly personal and may not be transferred to someone else. Using another person’s eHerkenning is considered fraud. If fraud is suspected, Digidentity will immediately block the account.
Create a new account and start a registration
Follow these steps to start a new eHerkenning registration:
- Go to digidentity.eu.
- Scroll down to the correct product and click “Register now”.
- Enter your email address and the verification code sent to you.
- Click “Continue” to begin the registration for your chosen eHerkenning product.

Cancelling an eHerkenning subscription
If an employee has left your organisation, you can request cancellation of their subscription. Please email debiteuren@digidentity.com with the following details:
- The email address of the Digidentity account
- The Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number
- Your client / customer number
- The relevant invoice number
Our Finance Department will contact you to arrange the cancellation.
