When you receive a letter from the Sociale Verzekeringsbank (SVB) requesting you to upload your proof of life (levensbewijs), you should scan the QR code using the camera on your smartphone. This will direct you to the SVB process.
During this process, you will be asked to upload your identity document and take a selfie. After completing these steps, you will see a confirmation message indicating that the process was completed successfully, and you can then close the app.
The SVB will review your proof of life.
If your proof of life is approved, you will not hear from the SVB. They will only contact you if they have any questions.
Please note that it may take some time for the SVB to process your information. We do not have access to your data.
If you download the Digidentity app, open it, and create an account yourself, you will not see any SVB options. It is therefore important that you follow the instructions above carefully.
