If you are directed to upload a photo-ID document using the Digidentity app but don't have a smartphone or tablet that can install apps, you may still be able to continue using one of the options below:
- Borrow a device
As the Digidentity app does not save any of your personal information to the device where it is installed, it is safe to use someone else's smartphone or tablet to upload a document. It may be possible to borrow a device from a friend, family member or work colleague for example. The app is only used for the purpose of taking and uploading photos for verification. Therefore, after your verification is complete, you can safely uninstall the app from the device you borrowed.
- Contact our service desk
In some cases it may be possible for you to complete your verification without uploading a photo using the Digidentity app. For more information, please contact our service desk
- Continue without verifying online
As online verification is not mandatory, there are alternatives in place for those who can't verify online. For more information, please see the following article: What can I do if I can't verify online?
