If you order a company certificate from December 31, 2021, whether it's a new certificate or a renewal, it will be issued by Digidentity instead of KPN/Symantec.
The new ABC Tool
Due to the transition to Digidentity certificates, an upgrade of the ABC tool from Solera Nederland is necessary for users to retrieve, revoke, and renew a company certificate. The new ABC tool has been available since December 31, 2021. Please follow the steps below:

Download the new version of the ABC tool (4.1.2) here
Please note: A ZIP file is downloaded, and it needs to be unpacked. You can unpack the file by right-clicking on the folder (with the .zip extension) and selecting 'Extract All Files.' You can then choose the file path where you would like to unpack the folder.
- Open the abctool-4.1.2 folder.
- Find the file ABC-tool.bat / ABC-tool Type: Windows batch file. Double-click on the file.
- A black DOS screen will appear, and the tool will pop up after a few seconds.
Note: If the black DOS screen disappears almost immediately and the tool does not appear, it may indicate that the PC you are using does not have the correct permissions or that you are operating in a network environment. Please log in locally and try again.
- Enter the following details in the tool:
- The email address of the company certificate..
- The BCC code, this is provided with the application.
- A password; if you have a mailbox, this is the password of the mailbox.
- The file location; the desired location where the company certificate should end up
- The file name; the desired name of the file.
- If this is the first time the company certificate is activated, select "Get".
If it is a renewal, select "Renew" first and then click "Yes".
- Your company certificate is ready in the location file you specified. It is an .abc file.
