If you are unable to proceed, the certificate has been requested via another account or the account has been recently deleted. For this reason, the Revoke and continue button will not work. If you get stuck while renewing or requesting an Automotive Authentication certificate after clicking the 'Revoke and continue' button, the company administrator must revoke the existing certificate. After revoking, you can request a new certificate.
Company administrator: Revoke Automotive Authentication certificate
Your company administrator must follow these steps to revoke the Automotive Authentication certificate;
- Log in to the Self Service Portal
- Click on the relevant company
- Click on 'Certificates'
- Click on the certificate in question
- Click on 'Withdraw'
The certificate in question has now been revoked.
Applicant: Request Automotive Authentication
After your certificate has been revoked, you can request the Automotive Authentication certificate again;;
- On a PC or laptop, log into your Digidentity account via: my.digidentity.eu.
- Click on 'Certificates'
- Click on the relevant company
- Click on 'Certificates'
- No overview visible? Click on 'Select' at the Automotive Authentication certificate
- Do you have an overview? Click on 'Request a new certificate'
Then follow the steps on the screen. You should no longer receive the error message..
