What Happens to My Old Certificate?
Your new certificate is immediately available for installation. The old certificate remains active until its original expiration date. During this period, you may still receive automatic reminders.
You can ignore these messages or revoke the old certificate to stop notifications.
See the following article:
How do I revoke a PKIo SBR certificate?
Downloading Your Certificate
Note: you can only download the certificate once. Please store the certificate and password safely.
If you lose the file or the password, you must request a new certificate.
Credit for Overlapping Validity Periods
If you want to qualify for a credit, you will need to revoke your old certificate first. You will not qualify for a credit if you haven't revoked your old certificate.
If you request a new SBR certificate before the expiration date of your current certificate, you may be eligible for a credit.
Once you have received the invoice, send an email including both the old and new invoices to:
debiteuren@digidentity.com
Please indicate that you wish to request a credit.
