Do you already have an eSeal and would you like to request another one for a different legal entity? An eSeal is a unique product: you need a separate Digidentity account for each eSeal. On this page, you can read how to register a new eSeal correctly.
⚠ Please note: one eSeal per account
You cannot register multiple eSeals on one account. For each eSeal, you need a new account.
Do you already have an account with an eSeal? Then log out first before registering a new eSeal.
How to register a new eSeal:
- Do you already have an account with an eSeal? Then log out of that account first.
- Start the request for the eSeal qualified using a different email address.
- During registration, create a new account for this eSeal. Do not use the account that already has an eSeal.
- Complete the registration steps.
Once approved, the new eSeal will be on the new account. Your existing eSeal will remain on the old account.
What is a qualified eSeal?
An eSeal (electronic seal) is an organisation's digital stamp. Whereas an electronic signature belongs to a person, an eSeal belongs to an organisation.
With an eSeal, you show that a document or file comes from your organisation and has not been modified since it was sealed. A qualified eSeal meets the highest requirements of the European eIDAS Regulation.
Why can't I register multiple eSeals on one account?
An eSeal is a unique product that is linked to one account. That is why you need a separate account for each eSeal.
I already have an eSeal and would like another one
That is possible, but not on the same account. First log out of your account with the existing eSeal. Then create a new account for the new eSeal during registration.
I started the registration while I was still logged in
Then do not complete the registration. Cancel your registration, log out and start a new registration with a new email address. Have you already received an invoice? Please contact our Service Desk via helpdesk@digidentity.com, so we can assess your situation. If you have already submitted letters of authorisation, you will need to submit them again for your new account.
Checks before you start a new registration
First check whether you have logged out of your account with the existing eSeal, and whether you are using your new account for the new eSeal.
