As a Company Administrator, you can cancel an employee’s subscription in the Digidentity Self-Service Portal.
Cancelling a subscription stops it from renewing. The employee can continue using the subscription until the end of the current subscription term.
⚠ Important: a cancelled subscription cannot be reactivated after it expires
The subscription remains active until the end of the current subscription term. Once it has expired, it cannot be reactivated.
Before you cancel
Cancelling a subscription does not affect invoices that have already been issued.
If you cancelled a subscription by mistake, you can undo the cancellation while the subscription is still active.
How do I cancel an employee’s subscription?
Follow these steps:
- On a laptop or PC, log in to the Self-Service Portal.
- Select the relevant organisation.
- Select Users.
- Select the relevant employee.
- Find the relevant subscription and select Cancel subscription.
- Confirm the cancellation.
The subscription will remain active until the end of the current subscription term and will then expire automatically.
Can I undo a cancellation?
Yes. If you cancelled a subscription by mistake, you can undo the cancellation from the relevant employee’s page in the Self-Service Portal.
This is only possible while the subscription is still active.
Once the subscription has expired, it cannot be reactivated.
Why are multiple eHerkenning products shown for an employee?
An employee may have multiple eHerkenning products or levels displayed in the Self-Service Portal.
You only pay for the employee’s highest active eHerkenning level. Lower-level products do not need to be cancelled separately to prevent additional subscription charges.
What happens to invoices after cancellation?
Cancelling a subscription does not affect invoices that have already been issued.
