Diplomatic and consular missions and international organisations must designate an authorised representative. This can be done in the MFA Protocol ePortal.
A Registration Officer must complete and submit a change of status form via a ‘change request’ (‘eHerkenning’) for the Authorised Representative.
The Authorised Representative in question must be a staff member of the organisation. Next to this form, a copy of the Authorised Person’s passport needs to be uploaded in PROBAS, as well as a Note Verbale stating that the person in question has been designated as authoriSed representative.
These documents are only visible for that particular person and the registration officer on the MFA Protocol ePortal. After the request has been assessed by DPG, it will be approved and entered into PROBAS.
Important: The Authorised Representative must be known in PROBAS before registering for eHerkenning PROBAS with Digidentity. This person must be the first to register on behalf of the organisation. After completing the registration, the Authorised Representative can approve or reject applications of additional users, as well as view and pay invoices in the Self Service Portal.
