If you have had too many failed attempts at logging into/recovering your Digidentity account, you will firstly be temporarily blocked for 15 minutes. You can try again once this time is up.
Should this happen multiple times in succession however, you will receive a message that your account has been blocked.
Please note that you will only be able to block your account if the username/email address you entered was correct but another detail was incorrect, e.g. password or recovery code.
Unfortunately we are not able to unblock a permanently blocked account. This means that to keep a Digidentity account, you will be required to re-register for a new Verify account.
Do you have another email address you can use?
If so, please start the Verify process as a FIRST TIME user once you have selected the service you wish to access: https://www.digidentity.eu/govuk/start
Do you only have the one email address?
In order to re-register using the same email address, we will need to deactivate your original account- this releases your email address so that you can use it again.
Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org from the registered email address, including the following information:
* Your full name
* Your date of birth
* Confirmation that your account is blocked and that you request for us to deactivate the account in order to register again
Once our team have received this request, we will proceed with the deactivation and contact you as soon as it is possible to re-register.
