If you are directed to upload a photo-ID document using the Digidentity app but don't have an NFC-enabled smartphone, you may still be able to continue using one of the options below:
- Ensure you are not using a tablet
Most tablets do not have NFC capability. If you are trying to scan the chip in your document with the app on your tablet you may not be able to proceed. Please ensure you install the Digidentity app on a smartphone with NFC to proceed. - Contact our service desk
In some cases it may be possible for you to complete your verification without scanning the chip in your document and uploading a photo instead using the Digidentity app. For more information on if this option is possible for your registration, please contact our service desk.
