The government database used to compare passport details is reporting that it is not possible to verify your document. There may be a number of reasons for this, however we advise you to double check the following when providing your passport information:
1. We can only accept details of a valid GBR passport document (in date or up to six months past the expiry date).
2. All fields are case sensitive and should match the information on your passport exactly including usung upper/lower case letters where shown.
3. All names listed on your passport should be entered in the relevant fields (Given names and Surname).
4. Double check that the pre-filled date of birth is correct and that all other dates are entered exactly as stated on your passport (dd/mm/yyyy).
If all details have been entered correctly and the passport verification continues to be unsuccessful, it may still be possible for you to complete registration by verifying a different evidence. To check if you can proceed without a passport, you can select the ‘Back’ link and state 'NO, I DON'T' to having a passport.
Remember: You can always upload your passport using the Digidentity app. Your passport can then be visually verified.
