In the personal details stage of the Digidentity verification process, we use UK credit history to confirm that the names and addresses you have provided on your account match and that we can generate information proving who you are.
If you have recently changed your name, you may be asked for your previous name details. This is because you might still have personal credit history attached to your previous name which will help us confirm your identity.
Even if our system has not automatically asked for your previous name details, if you are aware that some of your details are still registered in a previous name, we recommend that you add the name(s) to your account via the My Details section of your account page.
